Getting in Touch
Sometimes I’m hard to catch on a phone call. I might be in meetings, working with clients, or photographing an event. If I miss your call, don’t worry. I’m usually quick to respond on WhatsApp, by email, or via text message.
What I Actually Care About
What matters most to me is having a genuine conversation with my clients. I like to understand what you’re planning, what the event means to you, and whether there are any moments, people, or details you’d particularly like captured.
My Style
You can see it throughout my portfolio: candid, natural photographs that capture people as they are. I don’t spend much time directing poses or staging moments. Instead, I focus on documenting what’s already happening and letting the event speak for itself.
Locking In the Date
If I’m available and you’re happy to move forward, we’ll confirm the date and timing. To secure the booking, I ask for a 50% deposit. Once that’s sorted, the date is locked in and you’re all set.
On the day, I’ll be there on time and ready to go.
Knowing the Space
Over the years I’ve photographed events in galleries, conference venues, university campuses, and bookable function spaces across Melbourne. Chances are I’ve already worked in your venue, or somewhere very similar.
Before the event, we’ll agree on the coverage period, whether that’s a couple of hours or a full-day event. Clear and straightforward.
The 72-Hour Turnaround
Within 72 hours, I’ll send through a proof gallery with the selected images from the event. I usually take hundreds of photographs, so I make an initial selection and upload the strongest images for you to review.
At this stage, the photos haven’t been fully edited. Your job is simply to browse the gallery and choose the number of images included in your package.
“What If I Want More Photos?”
This comes up quite often.
If you’d like additional images beyond what’s included in your package, that’s absolutely fine. You can add extras at that stage for a small fee. Once your selections are finalised, I’ll complete the editing and deliver the finished photographs.
That’s the Process
It’s a simple workflow: book the date, enjoy the event, review your gallery, choose your favourites, and receive the final edited images. Easy.
