What to Expect When You Book Me for Your Event

No surprises. Here’s exactly how I work.

Before the event

Initial call (15-30 minutes)

We’ll discuss your event details, coverage needs, and how the images will be used. I’ll ask about:

  • Key moments you need captured (speakers, networking, specific attendees)
  • Venue details (lighting, space constraints, access)
  • Delivery timeline and image usage
  • Any brand guidelines or specific requirements

Venue walkthrough (optional but recommended)

For larger events, I’ll visit the venue beforehand if possible. This helps me plan for lighting challenges, find good vantage points, and avoid surprises on the day.

Shot list confirmation

You’ll get a clear outline of what I’m covering. No assumptions about “must-have shots” that don’t get captured because we didn’t discuss them.

Day of the event

Arrival: I show up 30 minutes early to assess lighting and scope out positions.

Coverage: Discrete presence. I’m not disrupting presentations or blocking attendees. Corporate events need photography that doesn’t interrupt the flow.

Communication: I’ll check in briefly at key transitions (before keynote, before networking session) to confirm we’re aligned.

After the event

Gallery delivery: 72 hours for standard events. You’ll receive:

  • Color-corrected images
  • Mix of wide shots, details, and candids
  • Organized by event segment
  • High-resolution files ready for web and print

Licensing: Straightforward. You own the images and can use them for marketing, social media, and internal communications. I can use select images in my portfolio.

Revisions: Minor adjustments included (cropping, slight color tweaks). Major edits (removing people, extensive retouching) are additional.

What I don’t do

  • Show up late
  • Promise deliverables I can’t meet
  • Require weeks of back-and-forth for edits
  • Create drama with event staff or attendees
  • Miss key moments because I wasn’t briefed properly

I’ve been on the other side—briefing photographers who didn’t deliver. I know what’s frustrating. This is the service I would have wanted to hire.
